My blog is a way of expressing my dream that I would love to make a reality someday. I have many ideas with little resources to do them with at this time.

As a pet owner, I would like have a very unique pet supply store that will combine health and nutrition products for our pets, and also for us as pet owners.

Also, pet owners need to take care of both ourselves and our pets by providing proper health and wellness solutions for us and our furry friends.

My pet Sugar Gliders...

Sugar Glider tidbits...

Sugar gliders are a very unique exotic animal that originates in the Rain Forests of Australia and other parts of the world.

Sugar gliders in the United States are considered 'Pocket Pets' because they are so small and you can actually carry them in your front pocket. They are Nocturnal Animals and look like a flying squirrel but actually are part of the Kangaroo family.

They LOVE to be touched and LOVE attention. You can keep them with you 24/7 if you like. You can carry them in what is called a sleeping pouch or a bonding pouch when you are traveling or you can actually place them in your shirt.

They love to feel your heartbeat and they bond to you quite easily. It takes about a week to 2 weeks to get them to bond to you. After that, they are familiar with your smell and what you look like.

They are adorable little animals that can actually make great pets.

I have 2 Sugar gliders. One male...his name is 'Sylvester' ( he is actually my little boy's), he is about 9 months old, and one female...her name is 'Poptart'. She is still a baby. She is about 9 weeks old.

We LOVE them! They are so entertaining and give us so much joy. They are a hoot to watch play with each other and pounce around with their favorite toys like feathers and plastic cat toy balls with a bell.

They have a unique diet which consist of fresh fruits and vegetables along with their special blend food you can get at your local pet store.
Sugar Gliders have a naturally calcium deficiancy so you have to provide a calcium powder with their mixture of pet store food.

They are also called Sugar gliders for a reason! Can you guess why??

Yep! You guessed it! THEY LOVE SWEET STUFF!!Ours love sweets like marshmallows, Twinkies, yogurt drops, yogurt covered raisins, well...just about anything sweet!
